Our Story
Honeyfy brings raw Polish honey from our family apiary in the Świętokrzyskie region and southern Poland to homes across the Netherlands — short chain, clear origin, no anonymous blends. Poland is among Europe’s largest honey producers; we focus on one thing: from our hives to your jar, honestly.
What We Stand For
Radical Transparency
In a market where 46% of EU honey is adulterated, we stand for complete traceability — from hive to doorstep. You know the beekeeper, the flower, the region. No secrets.
Nature-First Purity
No additives, no syrups, no blending tricks. Real honey as nature intended — nothing added, nothing removed. A standard that puts supermarket shelves to shame.
Polish Heritage Pride
Poland's pristine landscapes and centuries of beekeeping tradition produce Europe's most distinctive monofloral honeys. This geography is our competitive moat.
Our Mission
To share the finest pure Polish honey from our family's apiary in the pristine southern regions of Poland — rooted in Świętokrzyskie, now at home in the Netherlands — while preserving the delicate balance of the landscape our bees depend on. We believe sustainable beekeeping is not just good for business; it is essential for our planet's future. 40% of Dutch consumers actively seek natural, sustainable products (Euromonitor 2024); we deliver with careful, ethical beekeeping.
Every jar of Honeyfy pure Polish honey reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and healthy bee populations that underpin our food chain. Our honey is harvested by family in the fertile valleys of southern Poland — including Świętokrzyskie, Małopolska, and neighbouring regions — known for rich biodiversity and deep beekeeping tradition, for Dutch and Polish households who want an honest line from hive to jar.
Pure & Natural
100% Organic Honey
Refined sugar vs. raw Polish honey
Everyone rethinking sugar deserves a straight comparison. Real honey is not “another sweetener”—it is a different category of food.
| Property | Refined sugar | Raw Polish honey |
|---|---|---|
| Glycemic index | 65–70 (sucrose) | 35–58 (variety-dependent) |
| Nutrients | None — empty calories | Enzymes, minerals, antioxidants, B vitamins |
| Gut health | Feeds harmful bacteria; disrupts the microbiome | Prebiotic — feeds beneficial gut flora |
| Antimicrobial | None | Hydrogen peroxide + propolis naturally inhibit bacteria |
| Energy release | Fast spike, then crash | Slower, steadier release |
| Immune system | High intake can suppress white blood cell activity | Polyphenols support immune response |
| Skin | Linked to acne and inflammation | Antioxidants help reduce oxidative stress |
| Sleep | Can disrupt sleep via cortisol spikes | A small dose before bed can support serotonin / melatonin |
| Shelf life | Indefinite (preservative) | Exceptionally stable — honey is found in ancient tombs |
| Fraud risk | N/A | Buy only from a traceable source — an estimated 46% of EU honey is not pure honey |

Our Journey
One hive, now a full family apiary
Świętokrzyskie
My father-in-law began with a single hive in the Świętokrzyskie mountains. Years of careful work brought that to well over a hundred hives across southern Poland. Honey at our table was always raw — seasonal, aromatic, traceable to the family bees.
What was missing in the shops
Rotterdam
After moving to the Netherlands, honey from home ran out fast. Supermarket honey often looked and tasted too uniform — little of the depth and character we knew from our own harvests.
Jars in the suitcase, then word of mouth
Poland — Netherlands
Each visit to Poland meant more jars for Rotterdam — first for our kitchen, then for friends and neighbours who asked for the same taste and clear origin: Polish family apiary, direct to the Netherlands.
A name for what people were already buying
Honeyfy
Demand grew because the product spoke for itself. Honeyfy organises what began informally: the same standards, clear labelling, and reliable delivery for anyone who wants real honey without guesswork.
From the apiary to you — today
Netherlands
The same family operation in southern Poland still fills our jars. We sell in the Netherlands through markets, wholesale, and neighbours — and we currently supply 8 shops nationwide from Zuid-Holland, alongside growing partnerships with bakeries and local and Polish stores.
Our Values
Sustainability
We practice sustainable beekeeping methods that protect Poland's pristine Świętokrzyskie region and ensure the health of our bee colonies.
Quality
Every jar of pure Polish honey is carefully tested and certified to meet the highest quality standards from Świętokrzyskie's fertile valleys.
Community
We care for our own bees in our apiary and contribute to the preservation of bee populations in Świętokrzyskie's traditional beekeeping regions.
Authenticity
Constantly expanding for foreign markets while respecting traditional Polish beekeeping practices and preserving the authentic taste of Świętokrzyskie.
